New Kayak Line No. 1

So, as promised, we are picking up a few new kayak brands. In order to draw out the excitement, get you all pumped about demo days (because all new kayak lines will be available to test drive at our demo days), and...honestly...actually give me something to write about, I'll slowly be revealing all the new kayaks coming to a shop near you (if you line in the Grapevine or Temple area).

The new kayak line for today is....drumroll please...

Liquid Logic!

I know a few of you are thinking, Liquid who? That's probably because Liquid Logic is best known for their sweet, sweet whitewater kayaks. Last year, though, they came out with a few crossover kayaks...something to give you all a taste of the wildlife but with a drop down skeg that allows for easy paddling on open waters. What does that really mean? It's a kayak that you can take to the San Marcos, have a BLAST playing in the small rapids, and then kick back and drink a cold one while paddling the slow water in between.

For you ladies or smaller paddlers, check out the Liquid Logic Remix XP 9:

For all you other homegrown Texas boys, the Remix XP 10 is for you:

This is probably the kayak line that I'm most excited about. Why? Because I currently paddle a Remix 59. The outfitting on the boat is the best out there (i.e. the seat will put you to sleep because it's so comfortable) and the performance of the boat is top notch. While the Remix 59 is a fun boat, it's not so much fun paddling the slack water between rapids. I am stoked to finally have a boat in our lineup that can fully handle the Central Texas rivers.

So there you go. The new kayak lineup has been jump started with the LL XP series!

Hands off, though. The first one to come in to the shop is mine! :)
